B & T Majestic Tree Hound Male 9 months Ready for training - Price: $500 in Jacksonburg, Indiana

I have a 9 month Majestic Tree Hound from a breeder in NY. He know basic commands, walks on lead and learns quickly, very smart. We started trailing humans (for which I got him to do) but I just can no longer do it physically. He is approx 90lbs now. Not neutered. Housebroken but does sleep in a crate which I will include (Giant sz $$) He has a small umbiblical hernia which can easliy be fixed during neuter. It does not affect him. Has had all shots except rabies which I also was going to get with neuter.  He will be neutered soon unless I hear from someone that wishes to keep him intact.
He has no problem with other dogs, male or female. 
He is shy around strangers, will bark, good watch dog.
He comes from a long line of hunting dogs but that was not my plans. I do not know if he will "hunt" but he will follow a human trail when I ask him to "find"  
 
He will come with paper work, he is certified. 
Price is firm, if you can't afford it you can't afford to feed him. (he eats Taste Of the Wild) Please don't bother me hoping I will reduce price. I do not have to find him a home, I just feel he needs to do what he was bred for and I can no longer do it with him.  I would prefer he continues to be a housepet unless you have an acceptable heated/cooled kennel with other dogs. He is very attached to me and needs company. I will not send him off with just anyone. I will need references, vet, etc. I will need to make sure you know about the breed (Scent Hounds)  http://www.nmtha.com/History.htm  I will do a home visit and have you sign a contract to return him to me if you can not keep him for any reason.
